What is Ugly Pretty Art?

I like to call a lot of my sketches ugly pretty. I don't know if there is an actual name for this kind of art work but that's just what I call it. It's basically just purposefully ugly, creepy, or disproportional people or things, usually they have a message/meaning behind them. Also I like to put a lot of colors into the people in my ugly pretty drawings, such as red and purple, and they usually look very sick or injured. (No I don't have problems I just like how ugly pretty looks).
